When the twins arrived...

Nothing compares to the day when the twins arrived! The greatest gift I could ever receive, is the blessing of having my angels, Jacob & Nathan. They are a true miracle from above. The moment I heard their very first cries, I was filled with such an overwhelming joy. It was a feeling that is truly indescribable. Hearing their little voices, knowing that they were ok.. Knowing that these two little beings inside of me, a part of my husband and I, were finally in this world with us. I just can't explain it! The moment I saw their sweet little faces, I knew they would change my life in so many ways. And they sure did! I will share more of our journey in a future post. But for now, here are some photos of when the twins arrived...

Decorating our tree

I've had lots of fun planning for Christmas this year, as the boys are at a stage where they are singing Christmas songs, and telling us which gifts they want! I had a wonderful time decorating the tree with my boys. This year, they were helping me put up the ornaments, and telling me where each one should go! Last year was a different story. All they wanted to do was break the ornaments and tear open presents! Here are some photos of how our tree came out this year.

This season is filled with meaning, love, family and lots of fun decorating! It truly is, the most wonderful time of the year. I only wish this season would last longer. Well, not so much the cold!  This year, we were blessed with our first home. I am looking forward to our first Christmas and all of the fun memories we will share with our beautiful twin boys! Candy Shop Theme 2nd Birthday

I wanted something different for the boys' second birthday party. Since they were still too young to let me know what they wanted, I went with a theme that was fun and playful, Candy Shop! It was back then, (almost two years ago), that I came across Hostess with the Mostess & The Tomkat Studio blogs. I knew parties would never be the same! It was love at first sight! I found a candyland theme party which I fell head over heels for. I knew I wanted this for the boys 2nd birthday. Here is (my little version), of our Candy Shop party. Enjoy!
